Man, this feels like something godly. Like, what else can you do besides sing? This game on Scratch introduces techniques that totally change the usual expectations for online Scratch games. Just looking at those techniques makes my eyes pop, and the fact that it’s fun to play too? This thing allows for a massive multiplayer experience, living up to the MMO name. You know, with Scratch online, we usually use cloud variables, but there’s this limitation where you can only use up to 10 per project. So the conventional online games tend to have around 10 players max. But, like, there are about 60 players connected at once here? How the heck did he pull that off?

Are you happy just driving a regular car? Don’t we all want to drive a large vehicle? I get it, it’s a dream we all have. In this game, try your hand at driving a tanker truck! Normally, you need not only a driving license, but also a license for handling hazardous materials and a towing license. But of course, since this is Scratch, you can drive in a zigzag all you want. Three trucks will team up to drive. If you can keep in line with the car in front and behind you, you are a professional.

Spin the mouse around to control! Yes, this is a so-called “Getting Over It” game. A Scratch version of Getting Over It has been brilliantly implemented by Griffpatch. Because this is Scratch, Scratch Cat uses a hammer to climb up a cliff of Scratch blocks. For some reason, he’s in a flowerpot instead of a pot. This must be some kind of British joke, I expect? The first challenge is the “if then” blocks. If you clear this, you are an undisputed Scratcher, or rather, a Potcher (lol). It’s a fun game, but the coding is also very interesting, so make sure to take a look inside. The coding is beautiful, as is the work of Griffpatch. It may look chaotic at first glance, but it is packed with the tricks of a professional engineer.

The gold standard of tower defense games by Griffpatch! Set up towers and destroy the enemies to prevent them from coming through. Defeating enemies will increase your cash, which you can use to buy more towers with. There are several types of attacks that the towers are capable of, so make sure to understand the characteristics of each one and think about where to place them to prevent the enemies. After a while, the enemies will start charging. If you’re not ready by this time, the game will be over in no time, so be ready and set up your defense at a good pace.

This is the project of everyone’s favorite (right?), Griffpatch. It’s a project to recreate Splatoon in a game called isometric, a space-taking game looking down from 120 degrees diagonally. Unfortunately, this one itself is not a game. But it is a project that would definitely be fun to remix and make into a game.

The characters are adorable. Although the text is in English, the words are simple, making it easy to understand what is written. Since only the space bar is used, even very young children can start playing. As players progress, they have to figure out how to create combinations with the same characters, which can also help teach them how to find and think about commonalities.

Summary of the author’s notes
This is about a cool computer program that shows off awesome visual and music skills. It’s made with the help of TheLogFather and Jamohyperturbopro. You just need to watch, listen, and enjoy. It’s part of the demoscene, where people create demos to show their coding, art, and music talents. It started back in the 1970s, and I got into it with my old Commodor Amiga. The latest version, 1.4, has improved performance thanks to TheLogFather’s work. There have been updates like adding music and making the visuals more complex since its first release.
