The cat mario in Scratch

Cat Mario
“Cat Mario” is a Mario-style action game that’s littered with shocking gimmicks, making it almost impossible to clear on your first try – no exaggeration. The original creator is a person named Chiku.
Although the visuals might remind you of Mario, its design philosophy is completely different. It’s absolutely filled to the brim with “you’ve gotta be kidding me…” level of unbelievable traps.

How to Play
This is a troll game like Cat Mario (Japanese project).
Move: arrow keys
Shoot fire: space (if you got a flower)
Stages 1 to 4 from the first series are simplified and made easier to play. If you get a flower, you can shoot fire with the space key or by tapping. Sometimes, Shobon will warp. Shobon's strength is abnormal, so he can grab onto blocks with his hands (this is mostly a bug).

Control Shobon to avoid pitfalls and enemies and reach the goal. | Arrow left/right RIGHT move Arrow up RIGHT Jump Mouse RIGHT Game Start |
This stage begins with a sudden appearance of a large, droopy character from the left. I was surprised and flustered at first, but managed to move forward and felt relieved. However, unexpected enemies showed up just when I thought everything was safe! There were enemies in places I couldn't predict, which made it even more fun. If you're curious, give it a try.

This game is frustrating yet has an irresistible charm that keeps you from stopping.
For PC, you move with the arrow keys or WASD, and jump with the up arrow, W, or space key. What's interesting is the special feature that allows you to "kill yourself" with the O key, which can be used like a reset when you get stuck in the game.
There's also a mobile version, where you start by tapping the screen and move with a joystick. Thanks to @griffpatch's joystick tutorial, it's become more accessible to play on mobile. (This tutorial has been made into a Scratch tutorial as well.)
Playing on Turbowarp offers a lag-free experience, so I recommend that. The developer mentions a lack of confidence in their programming skills, but looking inside, it's quite impressive. And yet, they ask for bug reports, showing a humble attitude and a genuine appreciation for feedback.
Looking at the update history, you can see the game has been continuously improved since its release, with new levels added and bugs fixed. Especially, the addition of mobile support is a significant evolution.
The greatness of this game lies in its challenging difficulty, the developer's commitment to improvement, and the value placed on communication with players. It's a game with a curious charm that makes you want to keep challenging yourself despite the frustration.
If you also have any recommendations, let me know!
