Whoa... So you're telling me I can make my own Geometry Dash!?
This is insane, absolutely INSANE!
You can create stages super easily. Yep, super easy.
The controls are simple, but once you start thinking about what kind of stage to build, the excitement just won't stop.
What's more, this Scratch project has been refined through loads of updates, making it incredibly polished.
Seems like the creator themselves is using it to mass-produce stages too.
I can already imagine the thrilling exchanges:
"Nobody's gonna clear MY stage!"
"Actually, I beat it first try."
"WHAAAAT!?"
Here's how to get started:
- The beginning is a bit confusing.
- When you press the green flag, a Cloud Score-like list appears which might throw you off.
- Press the space key here.
- Then the cube starts running and the game begins, but there are no obstacles.
- Now press Z and M keys simultaneously.
- The cube stops and you enter Editor mode.
- In this state, refer to the operation guide below and place whatever obstacles you like.
Remix it to share your original stage! How awesome is that!
TIPS:
In Editor mode, you can place various obstacles using number keys. Try pressing 1 through 9!
You'll discover all the different things you can place.
To actually position something, just move your cursor to where you want it and click.
By the way, if you press the same number key repeatedly, you can change the shape of the obstacle!
These thoughtful details are what make it great!
